Department of Information Technology

The Information Technology department operates Doña Ana County's Administrative Computer Network and Network Servers.

The office is responsible for:

• Program customization
• Programming department-specific applications and utilities
• Integration
• Maintenance and Upgrades of all
  • Microwave Systems
  • Computers
  • Network equipment
  • Fiber optics
  • Cable lines

Doña Ana County's network consists of more than 600 personal computers at eight geographically disparate locations, connected via fiber-optic lines, T1 lines, and wireless connections. IT serves as a technical leader and advisor for the county's departments and other governmental networks in the state of New Mexico.
