WORK GETS UNDERWAY ON NEW COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLEX

Construction begins today on Doña Ana County’s new administrative complex on North Motel Boulevard. Wooten Construction of Las Cruces is the general contractor on the $20.1 million project. A ceremonial groundbreaking was held last December on the 24-acre county-owned site. read more...

COUNTY FILLS DETENTION ADMINISTRATOR, FIRE MARSHAL POSITIONS

Doña Ana County Manager Brian D. Haines has announced the hiring of Jesse David ‘Dave’ Wooley as Detention Center administrator and Alfred Paul Chavez as county fire marshal. Both began work for Doña Ana County on Aug. 23, 2004.

DETENTION CENTER MODIFIES VISITATION RULES

Effective Sept. 1, 2004, the Doña Ana County Detention Center’s visitation rules will be changed to limit the number of people allowed into the facility during visitation hours.
