COUNTY OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR LABOR DAY HOLIDAY

Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, to allow employees to observe the Labor Day holiday. Emergency services and law enforcement in the field will not be affected, but the administrative offices of the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department will be closed. read more...

RESIDENTS WARNED OF DEBT SCAM LETTERS

A company calling itself GHS Solutions is mailing letters to Doña Ana County residents offering to settle unsecured debt. The letters state that Doña Ana County records indicate that the recipient meets “the minimum requirements and [is] located in a qualifying area.”

BEADED PONY REPAIR TO FEATURE ARTIST JULIENNE HADFIELD

The beaded pony on display at the Doña Ana County Government Center since 2007 is showing some minor wear and tear, so the Doña Ana Arts Council and local artist Julienne Hadfield are teaming up for a community event to showcase the horse and to allow the public to see the beading process up close during repairs Friday, Aug. 27, in the rotunda of the Doña Ana County Government Center. Refreshments will be served.
