FEMA ACCEPTING APPEALS TO NEWLY PROPOSED FLOOD-ZONE MAPS
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released preliminary Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs) and a corresponding Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report for Doña Ana County. These DFIRMs contain proposed Special Flood Hazard Areas as determined by Flood Insurance Studies performed by the City of Las Cruces, the Doña Ana County Flood Commission and FEMA. read more...

COUNTY OFFICES, SOLID-WASTE TRANSFER STATIONS ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Most Dona Ana County offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, to allow employees to observe the Presidents’ Day holiday.
